Sarah and her husband Paul have 3 girls–Abby (a Brown Bear alum and rising 5th grader at Kennedy), Olivia (3rd grader) and Evie (future Brown Bear!). She has been involved with the PTO since Abby was in kindergarten. This is her second year in the President role.

"I joined the PTO to get involved at Brown, to help plan and execute programs and events that help strengthen our Brown Bear community, and to help raise money for our school, students, teachers and support staff so that everyone has the resources they need to succeed at Brown!

I'm looking forward to working together with our board, event chairs and volunteers to plan a lot of fun events for our students and families and to giving back to our school community and teachers through our fundraising efforts.

Joining the PTO is such an excellent way to give back to the school, students and teachers, and to connect with other families and school administration. It's fun to be a part of the PTO – and we're always looking for more members and event chairs! :)"

Recording Secretary

This is Marina’s second year helping out with the PTO. She helped plan the cultural arts events last year, and enjoyed the experience and especially the people so much, she is participating more this year! She will be Secretary and continuing on with the Cultural Arts Committee.

"I have two kids, both at Brown now, David (3rd grade) and Jamie (K). We also have the sweetest golden retriever named Chloe. I joined the PTO because I value creating a community for our kids and believe that every kid should feel welcome and included. I have enjoyed all of the events planned by the PTO over the past few years, like the multicultural night, fun run and parent socials, and am excited to participate more in these! And I am always looking for more parent friends in the community. Go Brown Bears!"

Kids ages/grades - Nilay (7yr old - 2nd Grade) & Keshav (4 year old - 2025 Brown Bear)

This is my 3rd year in the PTO. From organizing fun and educational events to providing much-needed resources and support to teachers and staff, the PTO plays an integral role in enhancing the learning environment for all students. As a member of the PTO, I'm excited to continue contributing my time and skills to help ensure that our school remains a vibrant and welcoming place for students, parents, and educators alike.

My family is husband Ryan and kids are Adrienne (4th), Vince (2nd) and Madeline (pre-K)

I joined the PTO because I've always been so impressed by the incredible sense of community that the PTO creates for our kids at Brown School and I wanted to be a part of making that happen.

I'm really looking forward to all our favorite annual Brown traditions- like movie nights, Fun Run, Pancake Breakfast etc. and for my oldest to have a fifth and final amazing year at Brown!

I’m excited to continue with the PTO for the second year. With a fourth grader and an incoming kindergartener, I’m passionate about being actively involved in our Brown Bear community. I truly enjoy contributing to the fun events and activities that bring us all together.

Communications Co-Chair - E-blast

My name is Ken Jenney. I am the Communications Co-Chair of the Brown PTO. I joined the PTO in 2021 when my daughter Lia entered Brown in Kindergarten. I really want to make sure that PTO events are accessible to all Brown parents, teachers, and students. My wife Kim is a teacher at Judy Gordon Early Learning Center. I'm looking forward to more fun activities at Brown!

Communications Co-Chair - Website & Social Media

I have two girls - Ellie (1st) and Hannah (5th at Kennedy and former Brown Bear).

This is my second year working with the PTO.  I joined because I wanted to help out and get to know more people at the school.  Last year, I was on the Cultural Arts Committee and also worked on the new PTO website. I’m continuing on this year with the website and social media. I’m looking forward to all the fun events planned for this year!
